I first tried yoga when I was about 19. I loved it and have been practising ever since. Originally, I trained as an actress at LAMDA where yoga was also part of an actors’ training. Eventually, I did a yoga foundation course accredited with the British Wheel of Yoga and then a 200 hour teacher training course accredited with Yoga Alliance US.
My background is mixed: an Italian father, a German mother, but born and bred in the UK. My work background is also varied: actress, theatre company founder, director, teacher of various subjects from Acting to Yoga (not quite A to Z… but nearly).
I teach regular public Yoga classes at Wentworth Golf Club, Ascot Fitness Space and the Yoga Lounge in Surrey.
I am also a Yoga teacher trainer and Course Leader for YogaLondon on their lauded 200 teacher training course.
I specialise in offering classes that are specifically tailor-made for clients' needs. Therefore, as well as traditional yoga postures, classes might include breath work (Pranayama), meditation and some philosophy or a few jokes depending on the student's requirements. I teach different styles of yoga including Ashtanga, Power, Vinyasa Flow, Hatha, Restorative and Nidra.
If I had to define my class, I would say 'it is sometimes challenging, great fun and you always leave feeling wonderful'.
