I appreciate the sense of community found within group classes but also honor the individual's need for a personal practice.
I began teaching yoga in 2007 and have experience as a wellness instructor, group exercise instructor and personal trainer. I completed the Yoga Servesª Kunga Teacher Training 220 RYT at Wilmington Yoga Center in July 2011.
I have created a variety of fun classes here for you! Most include breath work, asanas and a cheerful approach to each individual's practice. Some include guided mediation and inspiring passages. Others are designed to alleviate stress and encourage healthy sleep.
My students can expect understandable cueing, positive coaching and creative movement.. I believe coming to your mat should always be a safe, welcoming, enjoyable experience. Yoga is a time to discover your own potential, individual strength and ability while working within your body's limitations. Special interests include flow yoga, prenatal yoga, restorative yoga.
