In 2009--seven years after her cancer was discovered and moments after yet another potentially embarrassing wardrobe malfunction during class--Jo ditched her breast form at the yoga studio, acknowledging she had found her second home on her mat.
Jo has used yoga to nurture herself as both a survivor and caregiver, discovering that a conscious practice is indeed for every body. She strives to provide accessible, soulful, slow-flow sessions that encourage each student to find his or her uniqueness. She enjoys bringing the spirit of the great outdoors to her mat, and she often incorporates inspiration from nature and astrology to create a fun class experience.
