Hey there ~ I've been teaching Yoga as a path of self-inquiry and optimal physical, emotional, and spiritual health to diverse populations for nearly a decade. Above all, I’m a student and hope to learn something from you one day.
In 2011, I was initiated into the Sri Vidya Lineage of the Himalayan Masters and this is the well from which my teachings flows.
Currently, I’m working toward my 1000-hour Certified Yoga Therapist license at Loyola Marymount University which includes formal supervised training by experts in both the medical and holistic wellness fields. This prestigious and rigorous program includes in depth training in anatomy, physiology, psychology, Ayurveda, mindfulness-based stress reduction, clinical research, mental wellness (depression, anxiety, PTSD, etc), biomechanics, neurology, and many other areas.
I received my 200 & 500-hour certifications through the Himalayan Institute of Yoga Science and Philosophy. I received my degree in Psychology, with honors, in 2009 and have also studied Ayurveda and Yoga in India. I share my time between Ojai, CA and India; both are home.
