Carol Krucoff, C-IAYT, E-RYT 500, is a yoga therapist at Duke Integrative Medicine in Durham, North Carolina, and codirector of the Integrative Yoga for Seniors teacher training. She specializes in creating individualized yoga practices for people with health challenges. A frequent contributor to Yoga Journal, Carol was founding editor of The Washington Post's Health Section and is author of several books, including "Yoga Sparks: 108 Easy Practices for Stress Relief in a Minute or Less" and "Healing Yoga for Neck and Shoulder Pain." She is coauthor, with Kimberly Carson, of "Relax into Yoga for Seniors: A Six-Week Program for Strength, Balance, Flexibility, and Pain Relief." Carol has practiced yoga for more than 40 years and is grateful to have studied with numerous yoga masters from around the world. She was profoundly influenced by her primary teacher, the late Esther Myers.
