Anita Perry has been in the fitness business since 1978. As the owner of Healthwatch Workshops, she trained individuals to be aerobic instructors, provided on site corporate fitness programs, and was a continuing education provider to the fitness industry.
“I was drawn to yoga after I experienced an injury,” she says, “And I’ve never looked back!” Ms. Perry has a master’s degree in education and is a frequent presenter at Title I and education conferences. She has taught all age groups from adult to elementary and brings her enthusiasm and classroom experience to the yoga community. “My misson is to bring all ages and abilities to yoga. I want everyone to have a positive experience,” she adds.
Ms. Perry received her yoga training at Frog Pond Yoga Centre and is registered with Yoga Alliance. She is the author of Yogaminute and Yoga Wisdom and has been featured nationally and internationally on blogs, articles, and videos.
