Insomnia is a big challenge during peri-menopause and menopause. Often insomnia and hot flashes go hand-in-hand. That’s because a hot flash in the middle of the night is like a shot of adrenaline which sends a rush of stress hormones coursing through your body. Yoga Nidra (a form of laying down meditation) very effectively shifts your nervous system back into sleep mode. All you do is get comfortable and listen to the soothing guidance. Before you know it, you’ll be back in blissful slumber. In my own personal experience, this works at least 90 percent of the time. If it doesn’t, I’ve got you covered!
