This simple practice addresses the meridian lines of the Urinary Bladder and Kidney, and pays homage to the Water element in Traditional Chinese Medicine. The postures address the front and back lines of the body, and variations are provided for a variety of levels. Though they're not required, I like plenty of props around to support a various options in these postures, especially because they're held for some time. Pregnant? Follow the directions I give to Katie, which may make your postures a bit softer and less deep. She also uses a chair for extra support during several postures. Knee issues? Follow the directions I give to Paula, who also uses a wall to support her back for several postures. If you'd like to join us aromatically as well, you might enjoy diffusing some lemon essential oil during your practice.
