Can you be stable and flexible--in body, mind and spirit--at the same time? Can you be accepting of pivoting to change direction? With a focus on the Gallbladder meridian, this class celebrates the season of Wood in Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM). We'll explore postures such as Half Frog, Squat/Dangling, Toe Pose, Ankle Pose, and Dragons. In typical yin style, the practice is more quiet and introspective, with a focus on breath and stillness. Props are optional, but I like having 2 blocks, as well as a blanket and bolster. If you don't have a blanket, you can always fold over the side of your mat to double it up.
