This practice delves into how to face things that are not what we had planned. Whether a new yoga asana or sequence, holiday plans that have fallen apart, or a life change that knocks us off course, having the tools to "deal" might create a sense of comfort and confidence for the future. We do this through accessible variations to sun salutations--a class plan that was unexpected for all of us. There's a brief discussion about the action of the diaphragm when we breathe near the beginning of class (around 10:00), creating a nice focus for a few moments. Blocks aren't required for this class, but they are always most welcome. You might also choose to join us aromatically as well by diffusing some myrrh oil while you practice.
