This class starts slowly, thawing you out like the springtime. Increase the heat with repeated forearm planks, and side forearm plank (the core building classics!) as well as Navasana (boat pose). Build progressively deeper twists - twisting postures are said to balance kapha dosha, the heavier, fuller feeling/quality that can build up, especially over the winter. Enjoy a full body strengthening practice accompanied by the nighttime sounds of a seguia, an irrigation system that waters a date palm grove. You'll hear the croaking and chirping of night-time critters in the late evening, at the time of the last prayer call, and after warmest hours over the day have passed.
