Self-discipline or Tapas is often referred to as heat; this class leads up to a Kriya vinyasa flow. The most complete sun salutation incorporates hatha with mantra, yantra, and tantra. The power of Surya Namaskar has been enjoyed for thousands of years. If done consciously, it can soften the rough edges of a personality and any inharmonious aspects in our natal chart. Please come to the mat with complete discipline for being present and aware in the practice. Conscious Kriya yoga can make huge changes in our lives. The class begins in Vajrasana, or lightening bolt, pose, sitting back on the heels or on a block.
