This is part of a series of classes on the yamas and niyamas--the restraints and observances of the practice of yoga--which take us far beyond our physical asana practice. Here we explore the idea of satya, or truthfulness, by beginning with an internal focus on something that feels true to ourselves. We explore external hip rotation in different orientations, moving through postures with curiosity and the appreciation of where we are today. You may want to pause the recording during savasana to extend it a bit. And if you'd like, join us by diffusing some geranium essential oil during your practice.
