This class starts with a few simple restorative postures, finally settling into a long yoga nidra. You'll also learn how to about apana vayu mudra, a hand position that addresses the cardiovascular system and encourages rest. You might choose to join us aromatically by diffusing a blend of essential oils that speaks to your heart center. I offered my maitri blend, for generous compassion. It contains frankincense, sandalwood, ylang-ylang, patchouli, clary sage, coriander and vetiver. Props aren't required, but they're always appreciated as they allow you to sink fully into these restful postures.
