AH-CHOO! When you have hayfever, certain yoga poses and sequences can seem impossible. For example, a usually calming child's pose can feel like you're suffocating! And breathing through your nose?! Forget it! If you have seasonal allergies this class is FOR YOU. I've had debilitating allergies since age ten and I know how challenging it can be. This practice will gently get you moving in a way that won't trigger more breathing difficulties. I know from experience that relaxation in general can ease allergy symptoms - and after violent sneezing attacks, it feels SO good to stretch your back and hips. You'll start very slowly and then gradually build up to a gentle pace of movement will help you feel more capable in the face of allergies that threaten to flatten you. Expect lots of variations of gentle to moderate backbends (which are the opposite of the hunched posture a sneeze creates!) and chest/lung openers.
