This is a level 1 beginners class which has the theme of finding joy by starting at a realistic place, where you're at! You'll begin by tuning in to what feels real for you in the moment and by observing your relationship with the word 'joy.' You'll move through gentle movements of twists, some standing balance poses, seated poses, and a guided final relaxation. There are options in some of the poses for varying levels of difficulty. Begin in a position of your choice, a position where you can access your relationship with JOY! Note that although this is a 'beginners' class, there are frequently students of intermediate ability level who find value in the basics!
