A grounding practice focusing on standing poses. The class is balanced with some inversions and backbends. Please get any props ready that you might need for these pose, i.e. a wall for Handstand and Headstand, blankets and a belt if you need them for Shoulder Stand. You may need props for Reclined Hero Pose as well. If this pose is not appropriate for you substitute Supported Bridge instead. The last pose before Savasana is Reclined Hand-to-Big-Toe Pose. I recommend a strap to hold your foot so that both shoulders can be on the floor as you are stretching your leg. This alignment grounds the body as you prepare for final relaxation.
