This upper-body focused class targets the meridians of the Lung and Large Intestine, which are associated with the season of autumn in Traditional Chinese Medicine. It begins with a brief explanation of Yin Yoga, which may be helpful if you've never practiced this quiet style of yoga before. And it closes with a simple self-acupressure practice that you can take off the mat as well. Feel free to use any props you have handy. I like to have a couple of blocks, a blanket and a pillow, but whatever you have will work. An hour goes by so fast--especially for a yin practice, when postures are held for a time. Feel free to pause your stream so you can add several more minutes to your savasana. You might like to diffuse some geranium essential oil (pelargonium graveolens) during your practice. It's the oil I used during this class, and Tash from Theres and EO for That recommends it for letting go of your desire to please everyone: https://www.theresaneoforthat.com/essential-oils-letting-go/ PC: Fournier & Malloy Photographers
