Seems like we're constantly being told to pull in our abdominal muscles, to focus and steel ourselves for the tasks ahead. But in order to engage, we need to disengage. If we're always in a state of contraction and tension, that state will lose it's meaning as we'll have nothing to compare it to, no other place to move from. Bring awareness to the support your center body provides, and learn to let it go when the time is right ... along with anything else you might not need. This class is appropriate for all levels of students, even those in a chair. If you like working with aromatherapy, you might consider joining us by using the floral ylang-ylang oil with your practice.
