Begin seated and move from pose to pose with emphasis on breathing and alignment. Great for when it's a hot day, but you still want to move. Class features reading out of 'Heart of Yoga,' by Desikachar on the meaning of yoga, sitali (cooling breath), 'tiger push-ups,' sun salutations, twists, side plank (vasisthasana), extended hand-to-big-toe pose (Utthita Hasta Padangustasana) and ends with a final guided relaxation.
