This mindful slow flow practice includes exploration of rotations in a variety of orientations and postures, including crescent, chair, cobra, downdog and forward fold. We open practice with a mudra as invocation to the Hindu deity Ganesha, the elephant-headed figure who teaches us discernment, processing, and obstacle navigation. Good tools to have for our yoga practice--and life. If you'd like, please consider joining in aromatherapeutically as well by diffusing an essential oil during your practice. My tula essential oil blend (Sanskrit for "balance") includes geranium, lavender, frankincense, clary sage, ylang-ylang and hyssop. Thanks for practicing with us! P.S. The spoken audio on this class gets very low at times. Bear with it, and trust your body :) Photo credit: Fournier & Malloy Photographers
