This class explores the 'core' and the Bandhas. It begins with centering the body and understanding what muscles we need to use and which we can let go of when using our core. The warm up is a few rounds of sun salutations A and B with variations and options for all levels. The standing section is challenging both in strength and flexibility. The seated section allows for deeper flexibility. The finishing section is an optional guided shoulder stand. There is a final guided relaxation which lets you completely let go of any tension and stress and grounds you ready for whatever is next. The cues are clear, a mixture of anatomy, yoga concepts and humour. A thorough class that leaves you feeling great. Why not try it?
