As a workout regimen you can't turn a blind eye to yoga's staying power. We know of no exercise program that's lasted for more than 5,000 years except perhaps running. Yoga does more than build muscle and burn calories, it's is a mind and body workout that goes far beyond the mechanics of the body movements.
Prior to 2015, Maureen and I spent a year researching, connecting, and developing Audible Yoga. It was hard work, but it paid off because on January 8, 2015 the website launched with about 80 yoga teachers and their recorded audio classes.
It is a special time of year - one where we can feel bombarded with messages about joy and happiness. They say it's all part of the holiday season and it can start to feel like it will never be enough. Between the booze, the food, and the parties combined with the overwhelming level of obligations, the holiday season can leave many of us dried up, disconnected, and even a little depressed.
